Cabinet Enameling

A factory-smooth cabinet finish without the price — or the weeks of disruption — of new cabinets.

New-cabinet looks, without replacing the cabinets

Your cabinet boxes are probably in fine shape — it's the finish that's tired. We remove every door and drawer front, label them, and finish them right at your home — degreased, sanded, primed, and enameled piece by piece in a protected finishing area we set up on site. The frames are finished in place, too: everything happens at your house, start to finish.

The result is a smooth, durable, factory-style finish in the color you choose — for a fraction of the cost of new cabinets, and your kitchen stays usable through most of the project.

  • Doors and drawer fronts removed, labeled, and finished on site
  • Degreasing, sanding, and full surface preparation
  • Sherwin-Williams Gallery Series enamel — our most durable cabinet finish
  • Cabinet frames finished in place, carefully masked
  • Hardware removed and reinstalled; doors rehung and adjusted
  • An average kitchen takes about 4–7 days
  • Fridge and microwave stay usable throughout the project
  • Final walkthrough — it's not done until you'd recommend us

Straight answers before we start.

How long does cabinet enameling take?

An average kitchen takes about 4–7 days from start to final walkthrough. We'll give you a realistic schedule with your proposal.

How does it compare to replacing the cabinets?

Enameling gives you the look and feel of new cabinets for a fraction of the replacement cost — homeowners routinely save thousands compared to a rip-out, and there's no weeks-long kitchen demolition.

What do I need to do before you arrive?

Empty the drawers completely. Cabinet boxes only need about two inches of clearance unless we're painting inside them. We'll confirm the details before your start date.

Can I still use my kitchen during the project?

Yes — your fridge and microwave stay usable daily. We'll walk you through what to expect day by day at the consultation.

“Carlos and his team are the most detailed painters I have worked with in over 30 years. I have never had a final walkthrough without one thing to be fixed — until working with Carlos and Hillcrest.”

“We had the best experience with the Hillcrest Company installing wallpaper in our powder room. Misael was meticulous, respectful of our home, and the finished result is flawless.”
